I started to help our assistant director with the responsibilities upfront since our director had to step away. Since I started helping her I learned that this is what I want to do. I loved the other side to the preschool.

• Managed budgeting and financial planning processes for the fall school year and summer camp.
• Communication with parents
• Registration for the upcoming school year
• Working on re organizing the office to help operate better
• Generated reports to review data and issue corrective actions for improvements.
• Setting goals with Jessica on things that need to change in the preschool and helping her achieve that.

When I first stated here I was nervous. I came from bright beginnings which was ran terrible. My friend Alyssa got me to join Galilee. I started in pre-k and fell in love with it. This school has taught me so much! The parents at the school make your job very fun, enjoyable, and rewarding.

• Participated in workshops, trainings and conferences to improve educational skills.
• Implemented behavior modeling and positive reinforcement into daily routines.
• Organized creative and fun activities, enhancing children's physical, emotional and social well-being.
• Engaged with children on individual basis to build positive, trusting relationships.
• Created and enforced child-based, hands-on curriculum to promote student interest and receptive learning.

When Bright beginnings closed down people were stressing about a place to go. When it shut down we still had 40 kids because all the daycare's were full. The parents had to bring there kids so a few employees stayed till the end. I had a family reach out to me asking to nanny for them once our doors closed. I choose to do that for a while until they could get into a daycare. I had the privilege to nanny two of the sweetest boys and a great family!

• Cooked nutritious meals to promote healthy diet and nutrition.
• Transported children to school, extracurricular activities, and appointments when needed.
• Developed positive relationships with each child by providing nurturing care.
• Instructed the children in proper behavior, manners, health habits.
• Performed light housekeeping duties related to childcare such as laundry or meal preparation.
• Created an atmosphere of trust between myself and both the family and the kids I cared for.

I started at Bright Beginnings when I was 16 and in high school. When I started working there I was in afterschool. Once I finished high school I decided to go full time while doing collage. I choose to be an assistant in the three year old room. There were times were I was bounced to other rooms to help out. Then a few years latter I became the lead of the 3 year old room. I did this for a few years until our school started to close its doors and then I had to help in the front office.

• Encouraged children to be understanding of others, show good manners and instructed in other social development behaviors.
• Controlled classroom environments with clearly outlined rules and positive reinforcement techniques.
• Developed professional relationships with parents, teachers, directors and therapists.
• Collaborated with colleagues on developing new classroom projects and monthly themes.
