Seasoned nursing professional with 15 years of varied inpatient medical/surgical and outpatient hemodialysis experience seeking a part time position at a facility that truly values employees, patient care and safety is truly a priority. After 15 years of nursing I truly want to see progressive changes in healthcare. I believe that the care I provide is the same care that I will receive one day and that thought is frightening when my hemodialysis patients come to me from skilled nursing facilities because if the care my patients are receiving from hospitals and nursing facilities is any indication of the care that I will receive one day some changes need to happen. Life is about quality not quantity and though our healthcare system seems obsessed with extending life at this time these lives are being cared for by people who are not even bothering to provide them with the minimum amount of care and support that is necessary to have quality in their life. I would truly love to be a part of the change that needs to happen in healthcare.
