Beginning June 18th 2018 I began covering the position for Senior Secretary V while the assigned Secretary was out on her maternity leave. This position serves as the direct Secretary to the Division Chief of Assessment Services. Duties in this position included answering telephone calls, in person inquires, scheduling meetings/appointments of the Chief, verifying information on documents/reports then submitting for signatures, verifying documents and time records are gathered and submitted in a timely manner. Fulfill daily reservation protocol, schedule dates, prepare documents and submit advertisements fo public auctions in compliance with California state law. Review and complete monthly full unit inventory, review and complete monthly merchandise inventory; resolve customer negotiations, individual issues and needs; provide property maintenance, as well as uphold a safe, presentable grounds which are prepared for audits at all times. Accounting and bookkeeping, handle receipts and bank deposits on a daily basis; input accounts payable/receivable information into accounting database; manage delinquent accounts through customer follow-up, certified letter, and collections when needed.
