• Bedside patient care to Trauma population ages 14-96

• NG/Feeding tube/PEG tube medication administration and maintaining feeds using proper safety guidelines
• Management of drains and dressing changes for surgical incisions per WOC orders

• Instructing new nurses on all aspect of nursing including nursing skills, documentation, and hospital policies
• Facilitating the integration of nurses into the interdisciplinary team by using different teaching methods
• Utilizing effective communication to coordinate patient care and ensure safety of the patient

Relief Charge Nurse September 2024-December 2024

• Evaluating clinical performance of nursing staff through regular observation and feedback
• Performing routine chart review and audits to promote safety and compliance with hospital protocols
• Managing staffing assignments and patient admits/discharges within the unit

• Float shifts to Medical IMC, Neuro IMC, Woody Stewart Heart Failure Unit, and Cognitive Health Unit
