While raising my six children I have put my professional career largely on hold and only pursued part-time options. I am now ready to take on full-time responsibilities and put my education and experience to work. I have gained a lot of skills and grown personally in many ways, prepared and ready to take on a new ministry opportunities.
Founded this ministry to serve women who are recovering from addictions. We have a team of ten volunteers who help supervise and mentor the women who live in one of our two residential homes. We also helped start and we sponsor the Celebrate Recovery ministry in Mason City.
Served in a variety of ways with children and youth, women's ministry, small group leadership, pastoral care needs, and more.
I was the senior pastor of three-point charge for three years and then a two-point charge for two years before taking family leave to raise my growing family. I preached weekly, did pastoral care, conducted many funerals, conducted weddings, fulfilled the administrative responsibilities of all five churches, and participated in community events with other churches.
I completed a CPE unit as a hospital chaplain in 1995 at Methodist Hospital in DesMoines to satisfy requirements for ordination in the United Methodist Church.
I am currently ordained through the Global Methodist Church.
