With 42 years of experience as a registered nurse in prestigious pediatric institutions such as Boston Children's Hospital, Boston Floating for Children's at Tufts University, National Children's Hospital, Georgetown University Hospital, and Phoenix Children's Hospital, I have had a fulfilling and blessed career. I have been a strong advocate for family-centered healthcare since my early days at Boston Children's Hospital, where I actively participated in one of the first parent rooming-in programs. Patient and family education has always been my passion, demonstrated through my roles as a Nursing Coordinator, education task force member for patient education, and community educator in childbirth classes, asthma programs, and teen mother programs in rural Maine. I have also excelled as a School Nurse in Colorado and as a Research RN at the Emily Center, a valuable resource for families, patients, and staff. Alongside my professional achievements, I have contributed to my children's schools by developing art and music programs and serving as the PTO president. My leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and problem-solving mindset make me an ideal team player. With unwavering dedication and punctuality, I am eager to be considered for employment opportunities.
