• Preparation, recovery and discharge of surgical patients, also provided appropriate patient teachings. Intravenous infusion of medication, blood and blood products.
• Responsible for continual care of patients with chronic and acute medical conditions. Assessment of patient status along with notification of physician, with clinical changes.
• Performing HEMO and peritoneal dialysis, also plasmapheresis using plasma and albumin.
• Providing care for oncology patients and offering support to families’ management of mediports and PICC lines.
• Initial fit assessments of home care patients and application of appropriate therapies. Direct supervision of patient care needs and services. Ongoing patient teaching, administering prescribed treatments. Implementing safe and effective discharge planning.
• Responsible for care of pediatric patients, interaction with parents and family members.
• Work in a team environment under the direction of Clinical Research Associates and Principle Investigators.
• Responsible for arranging a research study site; recruiting, screening and enrolling clinical study participants.
• Responsible for arranging follow-up visits.
• Maintain and dispense drug and other study supplies.
• Responsible for drawing blood and performing phlebotomy related tasks.
• Complete and ensure the accuracy of case report forms and regulatory documents.
