Customer Clerk
• Reviewing all incoming mail for appropriate sorting and assigning to the correspondence and grievance staff. Classify, external mail from the HAP members by various document types using document separator sheets. Fully understand procedures and processes required to batch, scan index and distribute the mail utilizing a PC windows based software application. Confirm the quality of the imaged documents scanned. Maintain batch in inventory.
• Index external mail by accessing the appropriate HAP contracts via HAP’s Administrative systems, which establishes the electronic route of the documents for distribution to the new document cues or existing cases for all department staff.
• File, sort, and distribute various incoming and outgoing paperwork (I.e., memos, letters, reports, and mass mailing).
• Create and file all grievance files, including assist with preparing files to be stored at the warehouse for previous year storage.
• Request/print all member related Explanation of Benefits (EOB’s) request received from Client Services Staff.
