As Academic Advisor:

  • Provided individual and group academic advising and mentoring to students in the undergraduate program in Communication Science


As Assistant Professor:

  • taught courses in communication disorders, acquired neurogenic communication disorders and linguistics
  • directed a series of interprofessional study abroad programs in Ireland for undergraduates in health, rehabilitation and education.


As Director of Undergraduate Education:

  • collaborated with faculty to review and modify degree requirements to ensure consistency with the departmental and school missions and professional standards
  • coordinated with faculty to provide early research opportunities for undergraduate students
  • established a comprehensive recruitment, academic advising and mentoring service to undergraduate and post baccalaureate students
