(SLIT) Subcutaneous allergen immunotherapy

Perform comprehensive patient intake clinical assessment and medication reconciliation for allergy and immunology patients.

Obtain and document pertinent medical, allergy, medication and immunization histories.

Perform allergy skin testing, including preparation, administration, interpretation, and accurate documentation per established protocols.

Prepare and administer subcutaneous allergen immunotherapy injections according to individualized treatment plans and schedules.

Monitor patients during required post injection observation periods and assess for local or systemic adverse reactions.

Recognize and respond promptly to allergic reactions and anaphylaxis initiating emergency interventions. Notify physician immediately.
