Regardless of the business, serving people and customers is
the foundation to any genuine long-lasting company. Over everything I do, in the workplace or outside of it, I value treating people with honesty, love, and respect above all else. I am easy to work with, to communicate with, and am a team player. I'm also a strong believer that quality of work leads to trust, which is what I pursue in all my endeavors, big or small.
I have loved the opportunity to have helped foster and grow my husband's plumbing and construction business over the past few years. I not only assisted as a secretary managing invoices, bids, and keeping communication clear with clients, but also when needed worked right beside him with boots on the ground both remodeling and plumbing. Since we have recently moved from Missouri, his new business name is Shiloh Plumbing.
I opened my own Cafe and bakery in the midst of the pandemic and it was certainly a labor of love! I baked everything from scratch sourcing organic freshly milled wheat for all of my breakfast and lunch menu items, while also offering unique espresso drinks with homemade syrups. I loved and was deeply passionate about every aspect of my business and was content to wear every hat required. I not only baked all the sold pastries/ breads, I also served tables, preformed line cook duties, was primary barista, and rolled up my sleeves to do dishes and deep cleaning to boot. So many of my customers became beloved friends and I feel truly blessed to have had the privilege of being a small-business owner in the capacity of serving my local community! This experience has shaped me deeply both personally and professionally and has allowed me to sharpen and hone in on my ability to work and think clearly under pressure.
