I was responsible for implementing IED plans for my student in the classroom and across school grounds. I gained an understanding on how my student learned. In turn, I would teach them how to understand their way of learning. This made it easier for them to acquire and keep the knowledge taught.

In March of last year, when I began, my student could not read CVC words or count to 10 in the first grade. By May of this year, he was reading compound words and starting to learn his multiplication facts.

My personal goal was for him to not need an aide in the coming school years. I am happy to say we achieved it.

In Kalskag, there are 3 schools and several school buildings that needed to be maintained. I had the following responsibilities:

• inspect and perform repairs in the schools, teacher housing, generator sheds, and the bus barn
• notify supervisor of building damage, maintenance and equipment problems, safety and security hazards, and possible OSHA violations
• be available for emergencies
• receive and transfer supplies and equipment
• handle confidential materials professionally

As a foreman for a metal building company, I was responsible for:

• Install pre-fab metal buildings and/ or their components
• work under and report to job site supervisor
• run a metal crew
• Osha compliant
• jobsite cleanliness
• manage and keep project deadlines
• ensure employee safety and moral
• operate heavy equipment
• load and unload trucks
• speak 1-1 with clients to ensure satifaction
• ensure public safety in and around jobsite
• complete finishing work

As the funeral director and mortician, I was:

• embalming manager for SCI
• OSHA rep for the funeral home
• certified crematory operator
• a founding member of Mississippi Crematory Association
• prepared the bodies for visitation or burial, adhering to strict standards of care.
• established trust among clients by consistently delivering exceptional service while maintaining sensitivity towards their needs.
• a first call responder
• coordinated funeral services with public servants and families
• other embalming services
