My ability to manage my own workloads were recognized. All workloads were managed and worked in a timely manner, prioritizing was a necessity. I was also trusted with coworker's workloads, if they were out on vacation or time frame was approaching to expected time of completion. I was also the lead person in a numerous workloads. I would take the initiate to help my coworkers if they were falling behind with their listings to ensure timely processing.
  • Overpayments were a growing workload, request for waivers were often received. As a representative, I would have to investigate and research the cause of the overpayment to clearly explain it to the claimant and make the determination of whether it could be waived or if a payment arrangement was needed. I was able to work on a few complicated cases that were referred to OIG due to possible fraud.
  • This office was a high volume walk in/phone traffic office and I had been recognized on numerous occasions my ability to continually interview a large number of customers resulting in lower wait time and excellent customer service. I routinely served 33% or more of the walk in traffic on a daily basis.
  • As a fluent bilingual Service Rep, I was able to assist the Hispanic population in the same manner. I served as an interpreter for the Social Security unit as well as for the Social Security Insurance unit. I also did translations of documents. I served as the bilingual contact for the office and attended such events as Health Fairs and Festivals to promote our services. I have assist the different units to educate our claimants in the importance of reviews, timely reporting of changes and made recommendations on how to make them in a timely manner.
  • During this time I acquired numerous listings, increasing my normal workload. All workloads were executed and completed in a timely manner. I eagerly volunteered for diverse assignments in order to expand my overall knowledge of the agencies workloads. I became the go to person for fraudulent cases in this office due to auto enrollment and online services. I took the initiative to ensure my coworkers understood how to manage and handle these cases if they encountered one to ensure proper completion and correct payments. I also controlled the representative payee accounting workload, were I would send letters, contact payee's by phone to ensure completion of accountings.
