I was ordained minister in October 2018 in Miami, Florida, and at that time I was youth pastor at El Camino Church in Miami for 2 years, there I worked with young people of church, these young people had quite a few emotional problems, and weekly I did activities with them, providing them with counseling and teaching of Word of God.
Then I arrived in Jacksonville, Florida and founded the church "El Remanente" in which I spent six years of hard work with hispanic families.
It was very satisfying to serve the Hispanic community in this area of Florida, I found many families in need of support and marriage counseling, education of children, concern for the future, and a lot of spiritual and emotional need.
Through this work I learned of great needs that the hispanic population has when it reaches USA, without knowing the language, most without having a family here, they have to adapt to new customs, to the pace of life and the challenges in schools, sometimes getting several jobs. During all those years I was able to provide counseling to families, teachings and resources such as English and Hebrew course.
I was Linguistic for the New International Reader’s Version of Bible. I was in charge of the book of Psalms and the minor prophets, which are a total of 12 books. The translation of the Bible from New International Version to NIRV, It meant reducing the complexity of text without losing its original meaning, adapting it to new generations and to a greater understanding and Latin American context.
I worked as a teacher at Middle and High school.
