Associate Director, Office of Campus Culture and Climate
- Associate Director of Campus Climate Initiatives has primary responsibility for researching, developing, implementing, and maintaining a range of initiatives that support a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Assist in developing efforts that create and sustain a culture that embraces and promotes diversity and inclusion in their broadest meanings
- Develop long-term strategies and collaborations designed to enhance campus climate to aid in the recruitment, matriculation, support, retention, and the ultimate graduation of students belonging to historically-excluded populations (race, ethnicity, low-SES, gender, orientation, identity, religion, caste)
- Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous coordination of a Bradley University Bias Incident Response Protocol
- Provide continuous coordination of employee engagement teams, DEI commissions, and other university-wide climate initiatives
- Establish and maintain ongoing efforts to evaluate the quality of campus life for students of color and recommend appropriate solutions to address campus climate issues and improve the overall quality of services and programs for historically-excluded domestic and international students, faculty, and staff
- Counsel, advise, and consult with students, faculty, staff and alumni individually and collectively to build an inclusive, appreciative, and welcoming environment
- Serve on and/or coordinate university committees
- Provide leadership in developing collaborative efforts to plan campus-wide cultural events and initiatives
- Serve as an advocate on matters of diversity and inclusion.
