My experience in New Hanover County Schools include nine years as an MTSS coordinator (currently serving my second year at Sunset Park Elementary) and fifteen years as a classroom teacher.   • Facilitate benchmark data meetings with instructional leadership team to support teachers in developing and delivering core instruction plans across all grade levels
  • Train and support teachers in data based problem solving using universal screeners and other diagnostic data tools to identify students for supplemental and intensive interventions and create flexible grouping schedules
  • Deliver K-5 reading and math intensive interventions using various instructional strategies and resources, including Heggerty, Fundations, and Bridges
  • Plan with teachers and provide modeling and feedback on the use of intervention resources and instructional strategies for supplemental interventions in small groups
  • Analyze progress monitoring data to modify instruction based on error analysis and student growth
  • Facilitate math data analysis and instruction meetings with our district curriculum specialist and teachers after NC Check-Ins and Eureka Benchmark assessments in grades 1st-5th
  • Coordinate supplemental and intensive behavior interventions with teachers and Communities in Schools support staff
