• Manage care for 4-5 patients including assessments, medication administration, chemotherapy if ordered, lab draws on each patient, management of critical lab values.
• Administer chemotherapy as primary treatment and in preparation for stem cell collection and stem cell transplant

• Assisted with procedures at bedside including airway management, central venous lines, arterial lines, wound care, proning patients.
• Managed care of 2-3 critically ill patients on each shift.

• Managed 30-40 patient phone calls, acting as liason between physicians and patients.

• Performed procedures including foley catheter management, administered BCG instillations, Eligard injections.
• Assisted in procedures including cystoscopies, prostate biopsies.
• Educated patients for upcoming surgical procedures including laparoscopic and robotic nephrectomy and prostatectomy and open cystectomy.

• Collaborated with physicians and colleagues to provide care to oncology patients and post operative patients. Family Medicine Overflow patients were part of the unit census iwhich frequently included hypertensive crises, diabetic ketoacidosis, alcohol and/or drug detox.

Physician's nurse which included prepared patients to see physician, managed patient phone calls, arranged for admission and transfer to hospital, procuring records, patient education

Rounded at local hospitals to prepare patients and charts for physician to see. Acted as advocate for patient to physician for issues that required management prior to physician visit.
