When working the register I am efficient at getting customers through my line in a timely manner while keep great customer service and making sure that they have found what they need.
Gift Shop Sales Associate
Seattle Children's Hospital
05.2019 - Current
Responsible for buying merchandise for specific categories in our store. Which includes watching current trends, sales patterns, and collaborating with my peers for advice to make sure merchandise sells.
I manage the Gift Shop on my own on the weekend. I am always punctual and can be counted on to show up for my shifts. In addition, I juggle the online gift orders, phone orders/calls, deliveries, and register all while maintaining excellent customer service.
I was given the opportunity to design and execute the Gift Shop window display a number of times. This involved innovating ideas months before the window display was due that were age appropriate and inclusive. As well as, being mindful of cost and finding ways to reuse what we already had but still making a new and creative display.
Nourishment Rooms
Seattle Children's
01.2020 - 02.2022
During COVID the nourishment rooms at Children's were having a hard time maintaining the cleanliness standards of their patient fridges. I was asked to fill in once a week to solely be in charge of cleaning the fridges.
This included a list of about 20-30 fridges all over the hospital. Which consisted of pulling everything out of the fridge and deep cleaning all parts of the interior fridge.
At the end of every month the manager would go and check the fridges and I would always receive a 100% passing score for all fridges.
