The Senior Sales Development Manager manages the business relationship with a client(s) to achieve their objectives for assortment, merchandising, pricing and promotion leading to increased market share, volume and profitability across multiple market geographies.
The SSDM (Senior Sales Development Manager) is responsible for leading customer relationships providing strategic recommendations and tactical execution of the client(s) objectives while supporting the customers’ category growth goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Demonstrates knowledge of the clients’ products, policies and personnel, and collaborates with the client to develop realistic objectives and strategies for building its business.
• Leads Agency and client(s) relationships with Key Customer(s) serving as the Primary Agency Contact, offering strategies and tactics to enhance collaboration, joint business planning and mutual success through proactive communications, a cadence of tier stepped engagement (in person or online) and bi-annual Top to Top Executive sessions to review performance, opportunity gaps and business partnership proposals and campaigns.
• Demonstrates industry, market, customer and category knowledge by regularly monitoring and analyzing market trends, customer trends, promotional activity, consumer behaviors, demographic shifts and “best practices”.
