CAREER SUMMARY For over 10 years now I’ve served as the Vendor/Procurement Specialist for the Little Rock School District. As the Vendor/Procurement Specialist I’ve served as the liaison between the District and Minority Owned, Women Owned, and Service Disabled businesses to ensure that there is an equal opportunity conduct business with the District. I train District employees so that they are aware of the MBE/WBE policy as well as having access to our database for MBEs and WBEs that I created. I train our end users and vendors on purchasing policies and practices. I create and analyze spending reports to ensure spending with MBEs and WBEs. I also meet with vendors to establish a need for their products or services. For 6 years now I’ve learned the functions of eFinance and upon implementation of it to our district I provide assistance, support, and training for end users. I assist the programmers with testing prior to system upgrades. I’ve created documents used to train our end users in regard to eFinance. I continue to train new bookkeepers and principals on the functions of eFinance by doing one on one training as well as conducting group training. With eFinance I’m responsible for ensuring that requisitions are correctly converted to purchase orders and distributed to the vendors in a timely manner. I am an experienced Business Analyst with 7+ years in health insurance and the IT field. I am proficient in Microsoft Suite along with other office tools. I am a confidant and poised in interactions with individuals at all levels. I am detail oriented and resourceful in completing projects and tasks according to deadlines.
