Summary

Employee of Sharp Healthcare for almost 18 years. From 2004-2006 began as an SRN Clerk then, in 2006 was hired as a full time Clerk in the Medical Records Department at Sharp Coronado Hospital. I received the necessary training and experience to promote to a Physician Liaison, continuing to grow my skills throughout the year and advancing to an EMR Analyst and following a Med-Legal Tech. in 2014, I was promoted to Data Quality Analyst, partnering with the Case Management Manager and PFS as a liaison to assist with the appeals process by executing high priority record requests for payor audits and tracking the status within Craneware, in addition to tracking HIM audit requirements for TJC, in 2018, I was promoted to Lead HIM Specialist, coordinating the daily operations for the HIM Department and Release of Information System Department for the hospital facilities. In 2019, I was an active stakeholder involved in the Centralization System Services Release of Information Department including Clinical (SRS) and Hospital (SHC) Medical Records. Over the past 18 years, I have been dedicated to patient and employee satisfaction which has resulted in strong and mutually respectful relationships with many Sharp employees, departments, requestors and patients.
