Accomplishments

  • When I was a Junior in high school I was fortunate to be part of an organization called H.O.P.E. (Hispanas Organized for Political Equality) It was such a big honor to be selected for this opportunity. I was able to talk and meet a lot of Latina's in politics. They gave me hope that one day I could be like them too. That is one of the reasons why I enjoy helping others in any way that I can.
  • In high school was also in honor and AP classes almost all 4 years of high school. I was also an active participant in 4 sports while still having a 3.0 GPA.
  • Along with some of my fellow graduates we were able to start a whole cheerleading program for Calistoga High school for the first time since it was here in 2015. The cheerleading program is still here to this day.

Certification

  • I have had a few trainings for safety, fire drills, run throughs of emergency plans. I was CPR certified with the boys and Girls Club for about 5 years. I was also trained in other aspects related to children and their parents.
