I'm a reliable, self-motivated, hard working individual with the ability to flourish in a variety of environments - including working independently without direct supervision. I adapt well to new situations and challenges, partly based on excellent communication skills gained in collaborating with a variety of clients. In my role as a trainer for a tech support company, I became familiar working with Word, Excel and Outlook, and with learning and training new equipment and technology. As a member of Search and Rescue, I have learned valuable practical skills and team-work, often under high-pressure situations, including experience with GPS and maps.
After 6 months as a technical support Customer Care Representative I was promoted to Quality Control and shortly thereafter to New Hire Trainer. I excelled at developing and adapting curriculum, and producing confident and knowledgeable staff.
During my time as trainer I was also tasked with developing curriculum for new systems, and training employees company wide, both in the classroom and virtually. I also traveled to a site which our company was taking on, to learn their systems and write and present a corresponding training program. For these accomplishments I was awarded employee of the year.
