I have been working in the natural gas pipeline industry for 10 years. I am currently in my second local safety role. Safety is the most important part of my job on the pipeline. I have a proven track record of safety with zero preventable injuries or accidents throughout my entire career in both pipeline and the fire industry. If given this job opportunity, I would like to take the already strong safety foundation that Energy Transfer has, and build on it through real open lines of communication with those I represent, working alongside them to see firsthand the safety challenges they face, and building their trust so they feel confident discussing safety concerns with me.
Experienced with emergency response and rescue operations. Utilizes critical thinking and quick decision-making to ensure safety and efficiency. Track record of effective teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.
I am currently the 12-Mile Team Safety Point Person, where I perform various safety inspections, lead safety audits and/or walk-throughs, and regularly discuss safety concerns/improvements with my team and senior Safety Representative. I routinely work alongside my team performing such tasks as: valve maintenance, ROW clearing/cutting, leak patrolling, compressor engine maintenance, OneCall interactions, and various other tasks, all performed with safety and efficiency at the forefront.
