  • As an intern, I was responsible for sUAS maintenance and training with the following outcomes:
  • Train and gain experience in drone data acquisition in fire science, including multispectral, thermal, and from pre-during, and post-fire

  • Land Manager, Section 13, Lubrecht Experimental Forest
    Developed a team structure to foster leadership development and provide mentorship for students, allowing experienced individuals to guide and teach incoming students. Planned, prepared, and implemented prescribed burns, coordinating efforts across multiple teams and project managers, with a focus on collaborative learning and skill-building.
  • Forestry Club President
    Organized events, brought in industry speakers, and created connections leading to student employment across the western U.S. Founded a physical fitness program to prepare students for wildland firefighting, resulting in successful job placements with multiple agencies and a highly prepared, fit cohort of students.
  • Iraq 2019-2020
    Led small teams of maintainers to ensure fleet readiness, performing critical inspections on CH-47F helicopters under challenging conditions, including supply shortages and the COVID-19 pandemic. Managed a team during a high-stress mission on January 8th, 2020, to relocate aircraft in response to a ballistic missile attack on US troops, the largest of its kind in history at that time.
