I am a student at the University of Central Florida hoping to become a veterinarian in the future! I have a love for animals and caring/treating them is my passion! I have worked in a research lab before where I was an assistant to the head of the lab and was tasked with taking inventory and recording data as well as cleaning the materials we used on a daily basis. In addition, I have also been a TA (Teachers assistant) for Ecology at my school and helped my professor with lesson plans and study guides as well as holding review sessions in preparation for tests and quizzes. I am very team-minded and am willing to work hard for my co-workers and am good with people, and can make them feel comfortable through conversation.

I am a person who loves sports and I participate in the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which is a form of martial arts! In addition to being an intense workout, practicing BJJ teaches me and others who participate the highest form of respect and discipline which are traits I believe one must have in life in general.
I currently volunteer at an animal shelter in margate florida called United for Animals Rescue. It is a fantastic place that has allowed me to be closer and learn more about taking care of domesticated cats and dogs. My tasks at the shelter are to take the dogs on walks, clean the cages and sweep the floor, and meet/talk to anyone coming in to look at or potentially adopt one of the animals.
