As Production Technician my tasks include maintaining production efficiency for over 300 active wells, diagnosing issues and reporting my findings to the Production Foreman. I also maintain the state required permits for over 800 abandoned wells, perform state mandated inspection and tests on each abandoned well on a predetermined schedule. Over the past 2 years, I have managed to maintain the duties of my previous position of Lease Operator while growing into my newer role of Production Technician. As a Lease Operator, my duties include maintaining regular maintenance on over 80 active wells. This includes, but isn’t limited to, daily tests, greasing, weed control, leak monitoring, tank battery operation, coordination with other Lease Operators, and daily visual inspection of each well.
