Determined individual with a background spent gathering field data using GPS and conventional methods. A team minded Survey Crew Chief offering exceptional communication, instrument and vehicle operation and data assessments.
As a Crew Chief at Cornerstone, I see many projects completed from start to finish. I perform Alta, boundary, construction stakeout, and topographic surveys on a weekly basis. I generally find my work in the northeast region of the USA, but have surveyed as far west as North Dakota or Oklahoma. I pull deeds for my projects and can comprehend colonial vocabulary used on older subjects. I've trained multiple survey technicians to be an asset to the company and taught them how to use proper survey practices in their career. I've obtained my CST level 1 certification and currently pursing level 2. I've also completed OSHA 10 and my CPR/Red Cross First-Aid training. I keep a company vehicle in good condition, making any appointments needed for maintenance, and driving it as if it was my own. I've become extremely knowledgeable with Leica equipment of many sorts and can properly dissect schematics given to me for use on site.
At AWK, I built the foundation of my surveying career. Becoming familiar with Trimble total stations, scanners, and GPS equipment, I spent 3 years performing topographic surveys for PENDOT. Performing level loops and keeping an accurate field book were mandatory for every job completed. While an employee I obtained my certification to work for SEPTA in the greater Philadelphia region. I also worked my way into working on my own by my last few months with AWK. I made lasting relationships and gained valuable knowledge on proper surveying practices.
