Jared Oak

I currently rotate from working in the field and our office. In the field I am equally proficient on both the instrument and the rod/chainman role. I have worked from very large and challenging development projects to very small residential surveys. Working in the Pacific Northwest, as a surveyor, I have had to adapt to a variety of challenging terrain and weather to accomplish our work.

My office duties include checking field work, job layouts, drafting, and general
office support. I'm also responsible for the ordering of office/field supplies and
the overall maintenance of our vehicles and surveying equipment.

• Collected Recycling/garbage from homes and businesses on daily basis during 8-10 hour shifts.
• Performed daily pre-trip inspections and truck maintenance.
• Communicated with supervisor regarding unsafe sites, delays, accidents and breakdowns.
• Used radio and cellular devices to communicate with dispatch.
• Organized and updated daily route information.

• Managed opening and closing procedures and recommended changes to enhance efficiency of daily activities.
• Walked through store areas to identify and proactively resolve issues negatively impacting operations.
• Maintained positive customer relationships by responding quickly to customer service inquiries.
• Supervised and evaluated staff to help improve skills, achieve daily objectives, and attain advancement.
• Delivered fuel to farms, logging operations, construction companies and home heating fuel in and around the Willamette Valley.
