From 2018 to 2019 I was an install helper at Murfee's Air Conditioning. I work there for a little less than a year then moved to GulfShore Air Conditioning because I wanted a more promising future in the hvac industry. I continued my roll at GulfShore as an install helper for less than a year then I was promoted to lead installer. I was then taught to properly size and design duct system on top of installing the new equipment. After I'd been at GulfShore for two years or so I was promoted to Service Technician. In this position I learn to maintain, diagnose and repair heating and air conditioning systems. Mostly residential systems less than 10 tons but occasionally I would get service calls for bigger systems. I was also put on the on call rotation very early so I learned quickly. After two years of being an exceptional Service Technician I was promoted to sales also. I am currently titled a selling tech. I am a Service Technician as well as a sales consultant. If I diagnose a problem that cannot be repaired or would be unwise to do given the systems age, condition etc. I build estimates for the clients offering them a variety of systems of the required tonnage in different efficiency ratings. If the client decides to purchase one of the systems I then give the information to the install department and order the required equipment from the supplier.
