At Greybeard Steel, I read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings to complete structural steel projects accurately. I use flux core and MIG welding processes to meet shop tolerances and AWS D1.1 code requirements. My weld quality is ensured through regular visual inspection and non-destructive testing, and I coordinate with project leads and senior fabricators to keep builds on schedule. My work is detail-focused, code-compliant, and driven by efficiency in a fast-paced fabrication environment. My role demands accuracy, consistency, and adaptability, all of which I bring to the table everyday.

I was a welder/fabricator for Burly Products, and my primary responsibility focused largely on ornamental steel structures such as bridge railings and pedestrian handrail and railings. The projects I fabricated at Burly required acute attention to detail and patience, as these pieces were going to be seen and touched by people everyday for years to come. As a result, I've gained exceptional experience in metal surfacing/finishing, and a variety of precise hand and power tools.

As my first job in my career as a steel fabricator, I worked on a team for the tank department at ASC. I gained vast experience in a large scale fabrication environment, such as overhead crane training, rigging skills, and a keen eye for safety. Each tank I completed was subject to extremely detailed quality assurance, as well as pressure testing before it left the shop. My department was fast paced and there was very little room for error, an environment in which I excel greatly in.
