Responsible for repairing and installing water lines, sewer lines, and water meters. Provide service to broken water and sewer lines. Install and repair manholes. Maintains area around pumps stations and pipelines. Tap main water line and provide water service to individual meters. Load and unloads materials, tools, and equipment onto and from trucks. Stock, clean, maintain, and store tools on trucks and trailers. Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other manual water and/or wastewater equipment. Operate and maintain dump trucks, flatbed trucks, crew trucks, pickup trucks, and other basic motorized equipment used in construction. Attend training classes related to safety, water, and wastewater. Work, as assigned, for emergencies and after normal working hours on-call and/or standby.

Welded metal parts with gas welding equipment as specified by layout, welding diagram, or work order. Skilled with gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding and submerged arc welding. Fabricated and welded parts on site for heavy machinery, farm equipment, gates, and fences. Operated a wide variety of hand and power tools including hoists, drills, precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices. Operated heavy equipment on job to move and set welding projects.

Installed, repaired, and maintained air condition units, air handlers, and walk-in freezers and refrigerators. Welded and fabricated aluminum and grease ducts to code specifications. Accurately read, understood, and carried out written instructions. Operated and hauled heavy machinery. Maintained assigned work truck.

Operated wide variety of equipment including hydraulic saws, power saws, sanders, grinders, cranes drill press, forklift, and basic hand tools. Demolished buildings and other various structures. Followed company procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
