My first time placing was when I was a Sophomore in high school. I wish I had gotten the chance to place my freshman year but I broke my collarbone, but I came back because I was so dedicated to this sport. I went to every wrestling club, practice, clinic, tournament, to become better and it showed when it truly mattered. I was doing really good my first day I did a lot of wrestling and came up shorter then I wanted but 8th isn't too bad for a sophomore. My senior year I took 5th I was so close to placing 3rd, I was only down by a couple points. Other then that, it still was really cool because my teammates were also there with me so our whole team came down to Atlantic City to come support us, the atmosphere was a whole different level. I got to bond more with my coaches because without them I wouldn't have gotten where I was at, I've learned many important lessons from them that have benefited so much throughout the years and it pushed me to do better. Theres always an outcome to everything in the sport of wrestling whether you win or lose you still learn something out of it. Wrestling taught me many things in life that I will forever cherrish and be happy about the experiences I made with all of the coaches, teammates, bonding with each other over the years is something we still talk about until this day.
