- Prepare the wireline truck for field operations, including a full function test of the downhole and surface gear, an inventory of the truck, and proper packing and securing of the truck for travel.
- Rig up the wireline sheaves, safety slings and pressure control equipment on the drilling rig or wellhead.
- Complete rig down operations including cleaning, packing tools onto truck, preparing DOT paperwork and end of job reports, forwarding reports to General Manager, and filing all job paperwork.
- Service equipment at the shop and inform the General Manager of any concerns or problems and turn in run and failure reports.
- Perform post trip inspection of wireline truck, and alert General Manager of any mechanical or safety issues.
- Wash and prepare wireline truck for the next job.
- Attend, complete and successfully pass all training courses as required.
