I didn’t choose this work it chose me. Raised by a legacy of resilience, I’ve spent over a decade designing, leading, and scaling community-rooted initiatives across nonprofit, education, government, and philanthropic spaces. My work centers the brilliance of Black, Latine, and underserved communities transforming survival into strategy and vision into action.
I lead with heart, strategy, and lived experience from classrooms to boardrooms, stages to street corners. I’ve built trust in lunchrooms, basketball courts, and corner stores—meeting young people where they are and helping them imagine where they could go. Whether developing leadership pipelines or shifting institutional culture, I bridge grassroots wisdom with systems change, grounded in justice and legacy.
Lead and coordinate AMPT’s suite of capacity-building programs for BIPOC-led nonprofits across Chicago, empowering over 50 grassroots organizations with tools to scale their impact and sustainability. As a core member of the Programs Team, I oversee logistics, design facilitation, and relationship management for seven distinct initiatives while ensuring culturally responsive and trauma-informed engagement throughout.
