Extensive history in closed caption and subtitle creation, QC, conform and delivery through many platforms, systems, and applications.
Recruiting, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
Training or facilitating subtitling training for new employees.
Tracking productivity on both individual and departmental scales.
Providing disciplinary followup as needed.
Initiating and maintaining clear individual, departmental, and company-wide communication as well as creating and maintaining documentation of data, goals, procedures, progress, company policy and procedure updates, and much more. Coordinating external projects such as transcription, scripting, and localization with vendors and partners.
Monitoring industry trends and assisting with discovery and implementation where needed.
Providing personal availability 24/7 remote and/or on-site for any urgencies that may arise, or otherwise arranging backup coverage.
Maintaining proficiency in existing production and administrative software and processes, as well as providing initial testing and consultation for development of new applications and procedures.
Overseeing and administrating a team of up to 27 employees, including scheduling, time off requests, timecard processing, periodic check-ins and annual reviews, wage adjustments and other issues that may arise.
Analyzing revenue, capacity, and productivity data, and utilizing it to inform planning and decision making along with other department heads.
Facilitating engagement, growth, and success in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment through positive reinforcement and team-building activities.
General facility management, including communication with property management, vendors, and employees from all departments regarding anything office-related, ordering of supplies, maintenance of local keycard and parking access, content and procedural security enforcement, local proxy HR and IT duties, and event planning.
