Currently working in warehouse to load trucks for delivery, making sure that the right product gets on the right truck for delivery. On average we load 30-35 trucks a day.
- Schedule and route the way trucks are loaded for delivery. Making sure the trucks are loaded according to their destination. For example: going out of town or stores that require special attention.
- Close out routes and upload to driver's handhelds for delivery. Making sure the drivers get the right documents that pertain to their manifest and product on their vehicle. This allows the drivers to get in and out on time. Having a process in place, this prevents any downtime on both the warehouse side and the delivery side. All this with the help of using pallets, forklifts, and the use of a yard dog. When routes are loaded on time overtime is decreased under 13%.
