  • There are 4 services that Geico offers Sales, Services, Mobile and Claims
  • We support Claims Team in various environments like Production, Training, Fasttrack, User, Integration
  • We handle Atlas EMQs and monitor Destination queue
  • We will be monitoring the SSC and B2B applications like MPCT,ERPB, Lienholder, GVBPS
  • Working as a Member of Production support Team for Production and lower environments
  • Health check needs to be monitored frequently
  • Once an alert is received, we refer to Knowledge Base and understand if this issue has been repeated or new issue
  • If so, we would be having the solution already documented
  • We need to follow the document and track the issue to closure
  • If a new issue has been raised, we need to go through the Issue Description, research and try and get to solution to fix the issue
  • Once the issue is fixed, we need to update the knowledge base
  • When server patching happens, alerts needs to be suppressed
  • JVMs, Application Pools may have to be recycled
  • Monitor the systems at least half hr
  • After patching/release happens
  • We have scheduled daily outages to have EMQs suspended and resumed via cron jobs
  • We will have NOC calls for any Major or severe high priority issues
  • Responsible during windows/Linux patching for doing suppressions on Splunk alerts and schedule and stage packages
  • Supported in 24x7 shifts
