Each teen is expected to input their thoughts and ideas on social justice issues that they may face, or see in the world and community around them
As a whole, come up with an overall theme that connects and includes everyone's perception of social justice issues, to present in workshops
The individual specialties; music, dance, and acting are expected to create a piece that connects to the theme
The piece must incorporate everyone's input
The teens are split in 2 groups to come up with a workshop presentation to share with organizations, programs, and facilities with ages ranging from small children to the elderly
(Prior to Covid, these presentations would have been in person
Post Covid, everything is virtual)

Around 60 teens from the Boston area are selected for a performing arts program based on specialties shown through music, dance, and acting
The initial goal is for the youth that are employed to connect with each other through social justice issues
Able to have meaningful discussion, about situations that they may face as the youth and minority
Each teen is expected to input their thoughts and ideas on social justice issues that they may face, or see in the world and community around them
As a whole, come up with an overall theme that connects and includes everyone's perception of social justice issues, to create and perform a final showcase after 6 weeks
The individual specialties; music, dance, and acting are expected to create a piece that connects to the theme
The piece must incorporate everyone's input
The teens are split into different groups to come up with a workshop presentation to share with organizations, programs, and facilities with ages ranging from small children to the elderly
Lastly, come up with a final showcase to perform to the community at the Shubert Theater at the end of the program
Deciding the final showcase is simply decided by the performances that were presented in workshops and finding out a way to include everyone to perform.
