Jasmin Meza

Currently a Senior at the University of Texas at San Antonio with a diverse skill set that perfectly aligns with the requirements of this position. I have a strong ability to make quick decisions under stress and excel at problem-solving. Along with strong leadership skills, communication skills, teamwork, and customer service skills have been honed through my experience in Private Security and will continue to develop as I earn my degree. I am proficient in professional communication and teamwork, enabling me to confidently speak in all professional settings. My ability to make sound decisions under pressure ensures that I handle all situations professionally and lawfully. I am skilled at problem-solving, maintaining order in all circumstances. Furthermore, my strong leadership abilities contribute to team development. In addition to my years in Private Security, I have gained valuable experience working independently and collaboratively to uphold tight security for public and private facilities. I am proficient in detecting and investigating violations, seamlessly working with law enforcement agencies, and providing aid to distressed individuals. With fluency in both English and Spanish, I possess the necessary language skills for effective communication in diverse environments.

My community involvement has been very active throughout my life since my own adolescence years, I have mentored and been a guidance to young youths and young adults through the Catholic church in bible study groups, along with serving within the ACTS retreats community. Since attending college I have continued to serve my community through Catholic associations at UTSA. I have also completed my Internship with the US Marshals Service, and completed volunteer hours in ride-alongs with the San Antonio Police Department. During my time with the US Marshal service I had the opportunity to attend various Court hearings with my University’s approval and gain great experience and knowledge of the Judicial qualities in the Criminal Justice System.
