This role entails preparing weekly payroll for over 200 employees in multiple states, auditing for errors, discrepancies, and deductions, and submitting it for the Payroll Manager's final approval.

• Responsibilities also include auditing terminations, maintaining a weekly PTO payout sheet, managing garnishment files and processing new garnishments, handling tax notices, and filing for state and local tax withholdings as required.
• Additionally, the position supports the accounting department through journal entries, bank reconciliations, and recording and reporting financial data as needed.

This role involves overseeing weekly payroll audits for 8 different pay groups and all aspects of Payroll Tax across federal, state, unemployment, and local jurisdictions, including setting up and filing tax accounts within agencies and the payroll system.

• Tasks also include assisting with the filing of quarterly amendments and annual W-2 corrections, validating employee social security numbers through the Social Security Administration, conducting weekly/monthly payroll account reviews, and investigating discrepancies in monthly general ledger activities for payroll accounts.
• Additionally, responsibilities include performing treasury analyst tasks such as handling bank and payroll account reconciliations and ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

This role focuses on monitoring transactions within assigned accounts to detect potential suspicious activities, such as money laundering.

• Additionally, it involves identifying data anomalies in line with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) initiatives, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) regulations, and industry best practices for AML/BSA analysis.

This new role retains previous duties and adds responsibilities such as:

• Using accounting and revenue systems to assist vendors and managers with financial issues.
• Handling calls related to payroll, revenue, and accounts payable, and aiding in account reconciliation by supplying data to revenue teams.
• Accounts Receivable processing and resolving variances in cash/credit card transactions.

This role entails assisting in payroll preparation, ensuring HR data accuracy, resolving payroll/HR issues per legal standards, and providing top-notch customer service for payroll/HR/AP inquiries.

• Duties also include managing check validation/printing, updating financial records for the revenue and AP teams, and handling vendor reimbursement and payroll fraud detection.
