• Explore opportunities and possibilities for leveraging aPriori software to generate real-time insights into production costs for complex raw cast and machined components with varying supplier regions and process types .
• Identify and assist with the sourcing and procurement of goods, services, and equipment necessary for R&D departments through close collaboration with multiple sites and suppliers, ensuring availability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Year 2: Fastener Standardization

• Optimized the site’s fastener inventory, converting 60% of non-standard fasteners to cheaper, commercially available, and industry-standard alternatives, decreasing costs by $30k for 2023 and $205k through a five-year cost savings plan
• Led fastener standardization project to properly align towards industry standards through analyzing 5K fastener part codes and created a centralized engineering tool to mitigate non-standard fastener selection prior to sourcing

Year 1: RedRaven Seals & Unlocking SAP Backlog

• Collaborated with supply chain and manufacturing across 3 quick response centers to allocate missing parts and complete orders, resulting in the release of $269K from the backlog created through SAP ERP implementation
• Managed new product development IoT project by analyzing and validating potential seal optimizations through technical development and cost analysis
• This assisted with discovering resource-constrained barriers that redirected and moved assets to other R&D initiatives to better support FLS growth and inventory practices
