Cladding department typically handled metal work, mainly aluminum, galvanized steel, with corrugated and/or standing seam designs.

Responsible for gas card, driving a company truck and my crew members (anywhere from 1-4 passengers) to and from sites, supply pickups, drop offs, and occasionally hauling box trailers for seamless gutter machines and material.

Other responsibilities include

  • labor: demoing existing materials, stucco repair/install, framing, drywall r/r, tpo repair, coping and flashing r/r,
  • painting, masking, expertise in caulk and alternative sealing applications, expertise in seamless gutter and leaf guard installation and the usual on-site expectations.
  • Maintaining and optimizing shop cleanliness and storage for the cladding department proved helpful in overall efficiency for our jobs, material integrity, and efficiency upon departure.
  • Implemented construction safety protocols consistently on job sites by training team members and using OSHA-approved PPE, reducing onsite incidents, potential fees through violations, and exceeding company safety standards.
  • Conducted thorough inspection of construction equipment daily on ongoing job site. Employing OSHA checklists and equipment inspection/safety forms to verify operational safety standards, using my diesel generator skills to minimize equipment-related delays by up to 20% in the field.

My responsibilities included troubleshooting, repair/replace components of the overall generator unit, and preventative maintenance (PM) onvarying diesel generator model and brands including Generac, Kohler, Polar Power, Cummins, and Johndeer engines as well as accompanyingequipment (transfer switches, bunching blocks, breaker panels) used to operate and monitorthe generator and support the cell site.

  • Company vehicle, company card with high limit, storage unit, personal diagnostic tools, schematic textbooks, and emergency response equipment.
  • detailed documentation of labor - 25 photos per site and 4 forms each uploaded to different sources.
  • PM tickets; replace fuel and oil filters, coolant system flush, replacement, and optimization, flush used oil and replace with new, and mark the running hours of the generator on any newly replaced components.
  • Reactive tickets; tickets that's issued in response to an alarm that required comprehensive troubleshooting and r/r. Sometimes simple fixes, checking sensor operation (oil psi, coolant psi, fuel gauges both manual and digital, and voltage and frequency outputs), low air flow, low fuel, unplugged or in-need of replacement block heater, low or no coolant.
  • Sometimes more complex, alarm re-wiring/proper grounding, replacing any form of tampering/damage to overall unit - technical or not, faulty starter/solenoid, faulty transfer switch, broken or worn belt, poor fuel quality demanding fuel sampling and/or mailing for lab testing, control board troubleshooting or r/r, dead battery or faulty battery charger replacement, fuel pump failure and r/r, Etc.
  • Independently responsible for servicing of 350 sites spanning Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan (upper and lower Mich) and Indiana. Serviced and upgraded 50kw generators across 62+ telecom cell sites monthly over a year span, utilizing Google maps, and Apple Maps for navigation.
  • Hand tools, power tools, battery jumper, diagnostic troubleshooting softwares needing updating with company computer, multimeter and proprietary OEM software to boost uptime, mitigate alarms, and fulfill SLAs for regional infrastructure reliability in the East North Central midwest.

Cabinetry Installation and Repair

  • Managed inventory of cabinet materials on site, ensuring all parts arrived undamaged during transportation for each project.
