Jason Beall

I approach each day and unique challenges with enthusiasm, patience and humor. I have become an organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude along with willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals. Even when my weaknesses begin to surface I have developed strategies to overcome them and move past stronger than before.

Engineering

• Self Opening and Closing Drawers. Created automated drawers that would open and close at the push of a button.
• Spinning Display Shelf. Designed a shelf that had a spinning plate powered by a torque motor and a discrete battery pack.
• Desktop Bowling alley. Produced a desktop game that recreated bowling with a tube to return the ball to the user and a catch so the ball and pins wouldn't roll out and on to the table.
• Toy Top and Spinner for Top. Manufactured a top that was powered by a high gear ratio that would be spun from the power of a string being pulled.
• Super Sized Lego Figure. Fabricated a lego figure that was scaled up to be a foot tall. This project was made with a group that had to communicate their measurements and designs with each other for the final product.

Computer Science

• Multi Color Drawing Software with an Erasing Tool. Conceived a tool using html, css and java script that would let a user draw on a canvas with different colors as well as an erasing tool to fix any mistakes.
• Shark Dodging Game. Created a game using java script where the user plays as an octopus dodging sharks with every shark dodged.
• Slime Stomp Dungeon Crawler. Designed a software using java script to allow a user to control a knight that would stomp slimes to level up and go to more difficult levels with different types of enemies.
• NutriGO Fast Food Dietary App. An application in block code that would allow the user to select a fast food restaurant and their dietary restrictions and provided them with appropriate dietary choices. This app was made in collaborated with peers for the National Congressional App Challenge.

Fitness

• Helped me overcome the struggle we all have that is failure. I had realized that every time I fail something I have the opportunity to realize my weak point's and train them to be able to achieve any goal.
• Fitness has also helped me learn consistency. Consistency is a main part of going to the gym. Its shown in setting up your schedule, taking supplements every day, and completing every set of every work out.
• One of the biggest skills fitness has taught me is staying Motivated. If you are not motivated in life nothing will ever get done. Fitness has given me strategies to keep myself motivated in many areas of life including schooling and work.
