I started with Clark Pacific in 2015 during the Apple Project honing and detailing void slabs. I quickly moved into setting up and operating the honing machines and architectural patching. Because of my eye for detail I moved into viewing/detailing under the Apple personnel. I helped with R&D on the apple stairs and helped implement the standard operating procedures for the void slabs as well as the stairs. After the Apple project I learned how to set up measure, cut and place stone for an architectural job. I was recruited to Quality Control shortly after to work in the QA/QC lab. In the last 5 years in QA/QC I learned plastic concrete testing, hardened concrete testing, materials testing, pre pour, post pour, pre and post tensioning as well as calibrating lab and batch plant equipment. I learned how to operate and diagnose issue with our curing system (Sure Cure) and helped set up operate and implement standard operating procedures for our new curing system (Exact). I also have been trained in the process of weighing up and batching trial batches out of a stationary mixer for mix design qualification purpose. My well rounded skills allow me to regularly support other departments within QA/QC when necessary. I obtained all the necessary ACI Certifications to move up to lead and run the QA/QC Lab and I'm currently studying for My PCI level 1 and 2.
