Summary

As a power distribution field mechanic I work on a variety of equipment used in the process of supplying power. Worked on equipment for underground, distribution and transmission lines. Such as digger derek's, bucket trucks, cranes, drill rigs, backhoes etc. Experienced in welding and fabricating.

An average day would consist of going out in my service truck to sites and working with a variety of crew members between laborers, linemen, to superintendents and construction managers. I would diagnose equipment and order my parts into said location to get equipment repaired in a timely matter. While doing this to keep track of all jobs done we use fleet focus to make work order and charge time and parts.

I have been on many storm work jobs where I would be the only mechanic with 40 plus units on job at times. I was responsible for making sure all operators an equipment made it to and from destination.
