As a Data Annotation Specialist, I utilize in-house tools to label images and videos for Tesla's Autopilot and Full Self Driving software systems, contributing to deep learning models.
Some of my responsibilities include: Labeling data from the Tesla fleet of vehicles to support machine learning and AI development, collaborating with team members to improve labeling efficiency, using basic computer vision and machine learning concepts to enhance understanding of how labels are utilized by learning algorithms and making judgement calls on difficult edge cases that arise during the labeling process.
As an operations supervisor, I was responsible for coordinating employee breaks for optimal coverage. I also reviewed cashier analysis reports to ensure staff would be able to adequately cover busier times at the store. By doing this, I decreased the time that people spent standing in the checkout line. I would also review the store service dashboard to see what customers were saying about the store in surveys to identify trends. Using this information, I was able to make changes to any issues that may have been trending.
I was responsible for data entry for inventory items using Microsoft Excel and NetSuite. I updated inventory reports as well as analyzed any trends that may be occurring for inventory to ensure inventory optimization.
My course of action for this class project was to utilize the python library, Pandas, to manipulate thousands of rows from an excel spreadsheet data table, returning observations that were specifically needed, as well as averages and other meaningful data points. I then analyzed this data, looking for patterns or insights that could be clues. After noticing several irregularities, I used what I learned from the data to make a recommendation on what should be done to increase profits
