Reflection
- Learning about resumes and cover letters enhanced my personal life such as goals by providing me with comprehension of how to not only create and revise resumes and cover letters, but also teaching me how to revise so that my resumes and cover letters can improve when applying for future jobs. Having a good resume and cover letter is very important in life when trying to look for a job because employers look for someone who has a really good resume which can be used as an advantage.
- Learning about resumes and cover letters challenges my academic life, such as grades, study habits, and asking for help by motivating me to get more involved around campus events and programs. I don’t really have a lot of experience working but I’ve learned that you just don't only need work experience, you can have other experiences that you can add to your resume as well. This motivates me to find work and gain experience around the campus that will help make my resume stronger.
- Insights and skills gained from topics of resume and cover letters can help me achieve future personal goals because it will allow me to be more competitive and make a strong resume which will make it easier for me to be picked for jobs compared to other candidates. The skills that I learned from CHFY007 will help guide me into the right direction of improving my resume so that it can stand out to employers more than other candidates' resumes.
