Learning - Gaining experience with various types of forklifts and implements including: Standard forks, prong, box clamp, roll clamp, extended forks, and more
Application - Using skills and patience to unload railcars, loading and unloading trailers, storage and stacking
Machine Operator - Familiar with an AS400 "Sleever"; a label applicator, Denesters, Plunger, Boxer, and Gluer
Quality Assurance - Always keeping a close eye on the product to make sure it fits within customer specifications. Additional hourly and half hourly quality checks done.
Trouble Shooting - Anytime the machine had trouble running, the solution had to be found quickly and repaired or reset to keep production flow. Often finding a problem before it became an issue, due to attention to detail
Fine Tuning - Adjusting the machines to ensure the best product possible. Most shifts required some kind of extra work, even if a small bit, to have as close to perfect as able
Zero absences or late arrivals has granted me a certificate which is redeemable for a free day off. (Which will never be used)
