  • Hired as PM promoted to OM and then to GM within first 5 years. GM was highest role available reported directly to board/owners.
  • Developed strong culture of team, challenging ourselves and each other in a positive productive way, learning rather than blame, hard work, integrity, solution oriented, fair but firm, empowering decision making and developing leadership. This created a high achieving low stress work environment that translated to high profitability and low turnover.
  • Grew business from 1.8M to 8.2M with no outside investment while financially supporting the growth of sister companies. I achieved this through developing marketing program, a change in pricing strategy, diversifying applications, developing processes around change orders and collections, providing a high level of customer service and execution on projects resulting in more repeat business.
  • Delivered 25-30% EBIDTA which included management and leasing fees to parent company. This was achieved through strict cost controls, negotiations with vendors and efficient processes. Able to reduce staff while increasing project load while change in pricing strategy focused on large structures for long term rental.
  • Made significant design improvements to structure reducing install costs, storage space, and material utilization which averaged over 80%.
  • Developed, documented, and implemented all processes with a focus on continuous review and improvement resulting in improved efficiency, consistency and confident empowered employees.

  • Managed largest category with over 400 companies and highest revenue.
  • Outsold the sales team in my category though referrals and upselling existing clients. As a result CEO added commission to my hourly pay doubling my income. I was the only operations person in the business adding new sales revenue.
  • Increased retention rates from below 50% to over 85%
  • I was the only non-director who did floor planning. I did the entire show layout for my category.
  • I was selected as part of a team of three to develop, curate and sell a "show within the show". Due to the huge success of this launch MAGIC replicated our model in other key categories.
  • When I decided to relocate to Las Vegas my Operations Director connected me with Allsite and her recommendation along with the CEO of our parent company went a long way in helping me secure the position.

Vistage - 10 years of leadership and development training

My 10 years in Vistage has helped me both personally and professionally. Vistage challenged me and gave me tools to become a more effective leader and person in both my professional and personal life. My main goal was to become a more effective leader and I definitely credit Vistage for that. Vistage also helped me with awareness, accountability, taking ownership rather then being a victim, to name a few. I left Vistage because I hired someone who I felt could become a great leader and they and the company benefited for the next 5 years until passing it on to someone they hired.
